Adam from Belvedere Flowers in Havertown PA
Vs.
Cathy from Avante Gardens in Anaheim CA
Battle of the Flower Designers 2010
The recipe for this final round is designers choice. Anything goes!
I decided to go way outside the box for this match up. For inspiration, I looked at the World Cup design entries on the Dutch Creations website.
Instead of an ordinary flower container, such as a glass vase or wicker basket, I chose to use a one of a kind sculpture, created by a local Havertown artist named Tim Anderson. The name of the sculpture is called "What Remains" and can be seen at the Tyme Gallery, across the street from my flower shop on Eagle Rd in Havertown PA.

Here is the flower recipe for my design-
Flowers- gloriosa lily, hanging green amaranthus, flaming parrot tulip, pin cushion protea, green spider mum, green pom pon, lotus pods & purple privet berry.
Foliages- galax leaves, goanna claw, & croton leaves.
I used Oasis floral adhesive for the flowers & foliages, red bullion wire, & natural bind wire.
